Cars that are stolen
I am building a very sleeper turbo 4th gen hatch. Should I worry about my car getting stolen? I live in the south and don't see a lot of interest in the 4th gen cars. Do the cars that you guys know have been stolen look all "ricey" or do they draw lots of attention somehow? just trying to cover my ***.

Definitely buy an alarm and think about hooking up a fuel cutoff switch. Don't assume there's no interest in your 4th gen being stolen until it's too late and you read the streak of threads about how a ton of 4th gens are being boosted. Trust me; it happens.
Cars are stolen EVERYWHERE!! If its known that your car is boosted and you have little to no security then it will be picked up. Only thing you can do is make layers of security and kill switches.
Nothing can defend you against a fladbed though.
I consider my car what is known as riced out here (body kit, ww wing, fenders, aftermarket hood, shaved everything except handles and soon to be painted.
Sure I think it will be a target but I have a security guard for my complex and will have a basic alarm with a few sensors and multiple kill switches and I always back in to my spot with the e-brake on so there is no chance of flatbedding, there is no room behind my car.
