How can I pass emissions with my dirty ZC...
I went for Maryland State Emissions today and almost passed except for the CO level was too high. Here is what I had compared to what it was with my D15B2 engine.
State Standard: HC (220PPM) CO (1.20PCT) CO2 (6.0PCT)
DX Engine: HC (67PPM) CO (.05PCT) CO2 (14.44PCT)
ZC Engine with PM6 ECU: HC (218PPM) CO (1.30PCT) CO2 (13.19PCT)
I changed my oil Monday, put in a new fuel filter, cleaned my throttle body, etc... and still didn't pass. I used my PM6 ECU for emissions because it runs leaner than a PG7 ECU doesn't it?
I have until June to pass. So what can I do? I figure too much fuel is my problem and is always the cause of any emissions. I was thinking maybe I should get a fuel pressure regulator and just lean the hell out of it for emissions. You think that would work? Anyone have any tricks to getting past this BS?

i have a new o2 sensor that i have on the side, strictly for emissions. u could try using a different regulator off a different model, or an adjustable one made to look stock.

They never pop the hood for emissions so they don't know ****.

Are you using high octane gas? Go to one of the small airports in your area and mix in some airplane fuel... Higher octane better burn...
Just don't do it all the time.. If your motor is not set for it it will burn out your rings....
