Man its easy to do. Just take your time and dont overfucking load on the paint, do multiple thin layers, not a think piece.
As long as you clean the area first, tape it off and take your time. You cant go wrong. Make sure you get the appropriate paint

go for it.. I dunno about your handy skills, but if you have some common sence, it'll be easy. silver is a light color so.... it's harder to see runs or over spray ect.
I say go buy some single stage paint and clean the surfaces really good from dirt and oils. tape off areas, now spray
just keep your hand moving when your spraying and you'll be fine.
I sprayed 5 completes and alot of little things. I learned on my own with single stage.

you shouldn't need to prime and to prep the surface just clean alot with lacquer thinner and scuff the surface with a 3m scotch pad, you can get them at an autobody supply shop.
The hardest part is reaching everywhere, especially the hatch area.
