steering rack removel?

steering rack removel?
couple of ??ions about removing my beatup steering rack
1)do i have to remove the crossmember with the rack(i want to cuz i have a lil crack in mine now.
2)does it matter if i use a 1.5 civic rack in my crx
3)does any one have any write ups with a few pics on how to? i seen the one when i used search...
right now my shyt just pops when i hit bumps and turn the wheel
i replaced the inner and outter tie rods..,upper control arms and all bushings up front so only option left is to replace it and see what happens...any info would be great thanks
