Hey,

a friend of mine just installed a skunk2 manifold and a 64.5mm B16A2 throttlebody to his EF8.

When he starts his car he's got 1800revs.Seems ok because its cold outside.

The problem is the idle is not constant. Its always pending (don't know the right word) 200-300revs. There is some hose and when he pulls it off the idle is constant.

Any clues?

vac leak somewhere, check IACV (especially since he's got a new IM on there). and also check the TB gasket.

 

its cold remember that. it will do that for a while untill its not cold anymore...

you'll be fine. just give it time!

 

check your TPS voltage settings also...
