Default manual transmission oil

I would like to know how do i go about checking my transmission oil in my 5spd 1994 LX accord?

i just rolled over 100,000 miles. i bought the car with 83,000. i never checked the tranny fluid. how often should i check it and what should i look for? is it in need of a change now? what can happen while i am driving on the same tranny fluid for so long?

On a 5spd. there is no way to check the fluid level, un-less you jack the car up and check the fill plug on the side of the tranny. It should be just below the hole or very little coming out whe the bolt is removed.
It should be changed every 30k miles. Just use 10W30 oil. If you live where its really cold you can use 5W30.
