I totalled my GSR...now i have a paper weight sitting in the front yard...need to strip and cut the thing up....how do i get the damn windows outta there? (besides using a brick)

 

People, People People....c'mon now...work with me here...someones gotta know an easy way to get the off....or maybe just ANY way to get them off...

 

windshild knife, they come in hand or pneumatic and cut the window from the inside out

 

I believe the Helms manual shows a piece of piano wire being used to cut through the adhesive holding the window in place.

 

yup that what the helms say. use piano wire. now question can you reuse the window? in the helms it says replace the window with a new one? reason being i want to take mine off before i paint the car. unless we can just take out the weather stripping and replace that.
