i was just wondering if there is any advantage of having a 5 lug wheel compared to a 4 lug wheel. does it put more torque to the ground? just wanting to know

it's more functional for civic boys who do it who only have tiny front disks and rear drum brakes from factory...for an integra owner, you should probably just spend your money on a wildwood brake kit or something....unless you just want the pimp factor of having ITR wheels

*there might be some other advantages of the conversion that i'm overlooking so correct me if i'm wrong

PURELY fashion screw 5 lug. if u want better brakes get a big brake kit its better than an itr set up bigger rotors and better calipers. 5 lug what a waste of money IMO dont get it screw it

fastbrakes upgrade is your friend here. 5-lug is bling, unless you are scared of your wheels falling off from only being held on by 4 lugs...

also, more lugs/studs=more weight, more time to take off rims, more money on lugs. i don't know, i have a bias after working on my brake setup for a while.

correct me if im wrong but 5 lug itr parts are a little more beefier than the 4 lug ls/rs/gs/gsr parts. Plus you get better brakes as well.

Its true you get bigger brakes than what you would normally have on your teg right now, not to mention less stress on your 4-lug. But i still believe it is more bling

like everyone said, there are other ways to get better brakes. 5lug is bling, and to show off the ITR rims

civic owners can swap for rear discs off an integra. there is no need for a 5 lug conversion.

the guys also talking about 4 versus 5 lugs... lets stay on track.

Maybe better stock brakes, but even then, that's arguable.
The ITR rotors are slightly bigger. 11 inch to be exact. Whereas other Teg front rotors are 10.5 inches. And the ITR are a few mm thicker. There are so many companies that make great rotors, calipers and pads, that it's totally not worth it unless you want the look.

Civic EX and Si have the same front rotors and the Integra. So no big gains there. Willwood kit ? Why waste $600 on that for more bling ? Same goes for the giant AEM kits.

This might be the most educated post on here. He's right. The 5 lug weighs more that the 4 lug.
