Default h23: cams and cam gears

so yeah, searching didn't help me for **** so here i am!

so i'm researching some cams and cam gears for a hopeful h23 motor i'll be getting. it lacks the cams/gears and a few others that the aftermarket will provide me with. so ehre's my quesiton.

race-eng has a set of cam gears. it says for the b16/b18c/h23 motors. so does that mean the cam gears for those motors (also b18b if i'm not mistaken) are all the same?

also cams, crower sells only the dohc vtec cams and skunk2 the same way. anyone offer good streetable (not extreme) cams for the h23 engine?

intake manifolds. aebs makes them for the bseries, skunk2 doesn't have any for the h23. what other manifold will work. H22?

throttle body. i'll probably just get a stocker w/ a tps, but anyone recommend a good, close to stock priced throttle body? if you do, please let me in on the secret!

well, that's all for now. i really would appreciate any help that can be given. sorry for the questions, but nowhere gives me clear answers like honda-tech. thanks!

forgot to add:

if i used an h23 transmission, could i use the starter from my f-series motor and be square?

what about injectors and the injector rail. are there peak/hold differences? would they be a suitable replacement?

i have an f22b2 from an accord lx by the way.

Gude makes cams for the H23 they are regrinds but i had a set for over 4 years with no problems. I dont think the cam gears are interchangable.
No manifolds that i know of maybe venom.

I dont know about the starter.

well from what i've read before the b18b cam gears and h23 cam gears are interchangeable. and i've never heard great stuff about gude, a lot probably heresay, but until i get hard evidence that they are good and/or bad, i'll stay away.

ive searched through the archives and found that webcams are pretty good, but their website just gives regrind prices, is that all they offer?

manifolds, yea i've got nothing. stock i guess will do, ohwell, aftermarket manifolds dont make that much power considering i'm not doing a huge build.

that's what i've read. but does anyone have experience with them yet? i'd assume b.c they're so new, the prices are fairly steep.

Here is an e-mail response I recently got from Crower--

""Cams are available and just about to be released to the general public.

Similar listings as the LS (Stage 1, 2, 3, etc...) along with a spring and
retainer kit. Cost will be $400 for the pair and another $339 for
spring/retainer kit.

Thanks for your interest in Crower,

Sounds good to me.....

Oh, and a new Honda throttle body is 500 bucks, about the same as a larger aftermarket one, you just don't get the TPS sensor. Luckily junkyards have many....

If you can afford it, I'd get the Unorthodox Racing cam gears just because I like their quality, and they give you reccomendations on how to set them....they're like 3-4 hundred bucks though, whereas Skunk 2's are also good, but only about 200....

B-series cam gears are inter-changeable. If you're still looking for a good throttle-body... I'd suggest the JG/Edelbrock and as for the intake manifold... I'd just port the stock intake mani.

would i really need to get an aftermarket throttle body and a ported manifold. im not doing a crazy build. probably just pulleys, cam/gears, intake, header, exhaust. also my 190lph fuel pump and probably a FPR.

thanks about crower, i'll check that out!

No.. if that's all the mods you plan on doing. If you were to get cams also then I'd get a TB and just match-port it the intake mani.
