Default RSX and EP seats airbag blockoff plate...

Does anyone know if any company makes a blockoff plate for the airbag on the seats?
I want to take them out to reduce a bit of weight plus i don't even have them plugged up.
Any info would be great. TIA

i did a writeup a while ago. although this may be too much reading for you, it sounds like all you'll need are the resistors that i used for mine. if you want some i'll sell a couple to you. it will "block" the airbag, but will close the circuit so your front airbags will still work. let me know if you want them. corso28@comcast.net

No i'm taking the airbag completely out of the seats. I don't need to bypass any stupid srs light. You know like the blockoff plate for the airbag on the passenger side of the dash. Something like that.
When i take out the airbag there's going to be a whole in the side of the seats. I want to know if any company makes a blockoff plate to cover that hole.
Thanks for trying to help. Interesting write up. I'll read it when i get a chance.

You'll still need a resistor in the wiring if you want the SRS system to operate....Either that or call your insurance co and see what they say when you disable the system.

Yea that's what i figured i'd have to do. I was hoping someone already made it so it would save me the time of doing it myself.

It's going into an eh2 hatch. I don't have to worry about not having side airbags for insurance to hassle me.

Does anyone know how much each of the airbag in the seats weigh roughly? Those seats feel a lot heavier then my gsr leather seats.
