what RPM the s2000 is at at 80mph in 6th gear? OEM vs aftermarket final drive

aftermarket what? read the sticky thread at the top of the forum, all the info you need is in there.

 

I couldn't find any info about freeway cruising rpm, so if someone could please shed some light that'd be great...

 

depending on the gear ratio you go with, you add certain # of rpms in each gear, 4.44 ~ 300rpm higher, 4.77 is 600 rpm higher.

 

I'm at 5000 rpms at 80 mph

 

is that w/ a aftermarket final drive?

 

at 75mph im exactly at 4K at 80mph its about 4200-4300

 

With my 4.77 final drive gear, at 80mph I am at 5100 RPM.

don't mean to be counting beans but you should be at about 5k rpm, not 5100.
