was just wondering if they make black head lights for a 98 prelude thinking about getting one and want to go all black

cook them at 225 degrees pop it open n spray dem headlights flatblack yo!!!

failed attempt at being funny


anyway i also wanted to do this but it seems the only way is to open up your stock headlights and spray the cromeish piece black..... and its not worth having water problems and stuff to me so i gave up on it, but if you do it take pictures

yeah i guess your right don't want water problems well thanks anyways guys AND hey milk shake if apc does make them be sure to tell me cause i bet i could find someone to use them you have a lude lol it was kinda funny

and would you want all black headlights? it'll reduce the lighting output. why not just get those GTO covers.

there was a write on PO.com on how to bake/paint your head lights. while your doing that, get some projectors and do a HID upgrade.

don't mind the wise remarks, they like to pick on new guys.

There is not enough silver part in the housing to paint on the Ludes to make it worth your time, I did it to my civic and it looks nice but would never touch the lude lights. it takes a couple of hours of baking, prying, pulling, painting, drying, baking, glueing to do it. Have fun

If you just want te exterior to look black then consider the spray tint ?

Ive seen it before but cant say if its and good

Before you begin, best example closest I've seen is to look at DSM lights, they have black housign stock.
