what's up with the hood on this teg?

the hood looks slightly out of line with the bumper....the guy said that the hood latch cable or something like that needs to be tightened and that's it...am i being BS'd into buying a frame damaged car or is he telling the truth?
BTW, the wheels and altezzas would be gone if i bought it
Inspect the rest of the body lines. If it lines up with the fenders and not the bumper, then the problem is with the bumper. Also, is it a stock hood or an aftermarket one? Does a carfax report show any previous wrecks? Etc, etc, etc. It may be that the body panels just need to be realigned. There are too many variables to determine without seeing more pics that offer more details.
what the guys says is that the driver hit a small mail box(the kind on a 2x4) and came down smashing the hood so the hood was replaced with a factory one..he claims that the frame, radiator support, etc wasnn't touched
It's possible that the accident bent the front bumper down and that it wasn't "properly" fixed and is still angled down a bit. If this is the case then I wouldn't worry, I would take it to a shop to see what they can do about it though.

i like the look of integras without the sunroof and i can't afford an R ...not to mention it's the lightest, it doesn't have ABS, etc...would make a better track car..
