Prices on installation will vary from mechanic to mechanic. Your better off shopping around or making buddies with one or someone who knows one if you want to get a good deal. And as far as Hondata, you can use your stock ECU as long as you dont plan on making ridiculous power. If you want to realy fine tune your engine and get the most out of your fuel management and performance. Get a standalone, Hondata or AEM EMS. And find someone who knows how to tune them. There are several people on this site who know those softwares very well....cough:Mase:cough.....

Turbo installs typically run about $500 at performance shops. I recommend learning how to do it yourself. Whether you like it or not, something is going to go wrong and being familiar with the turbo will make pinpointing your problems that much easier. Not to mention, you will not have to leave your car at a shop for a week or 2 in order to have them fix a minor problem. There are PLENTY of people on the site that will be more then happier to give you all the info you need to know to install the kit.

Hondata basically allows you to alter your fuel and ignition tables to fine tune everything. If you are only looking at boosting 7-8psi you can easily get away with a standard in-line fuel pump, FMU, and v-afc. Better yet, you can run the v-afc hack which allows you to do away with the FMU and high fuel pressures, do a search in the FI forum on the 'afc hack' for all the details. Then once installed, have the motor tuned for maximum potential.
