how to change brake pads on a 2002 accord coupe v6?
Front brakes?
1. 12mm (IIRC) wrench
2. Something to push the piston back into the caliper. Long screwdriver or something.
That should be it. Are you replacing/cutting the rotors?

in fact i only have 33000 miles on it and it's my first time doing it so i dont know ,
i even tried to buy haynes repair manual, which guides step by step but they dont have it out yet.
so i am looking for step by step instructions, which would help me a lot since it's my first time,
nik.

1-remove wheel 2-loosen and remove bolts attaching caliper to mounting bracket. 3-remove old pads (remember to put new pads in old pads position-look for wear indicators to match up correctly) 4-(if car has ABS, DO NOT TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION! ABS PUMP COULD ENERGIZE POPPING OUT PISTON WITH APPROXIMATELY 2600 PSI OF BRAKE FLUID-OUCH!) Use a c-clamp to push the piston back into the caliper-if the piston is made of hardened plastic it could be damaged with a screwdriver or large pliers-so don't use them. or another option is to open the bleeder BEFORE you compress the caliper to remove used and abused fluid. 5-re-install caliper and mounting bolts, do other side. 6-when completed, with car not running pump up the brakes untill the pedal is hard and firm. Hope this helps, by the way I'm a mechanic of 12 years, I guess you could say I've done a few
