Side markers out?
I had my blinkers on the other day and drove by some reflective glass. I noticed my side marker blinker wasn't lighting. After i parked, i verified that the blinker was out on the driver's side and figured that I might as well check the passenger side marker as well. Low and behold, that one was out as well. What gives? I took the bulb out of the driver side blinker and looked to see if it was burned out. To my naked eye, it looks to still be good. Should I try a new blinker anyway or could this be more of an electrical problem than anything? Let me know your thoughts. thanks (5th gen base)
I replaced the bulbs in the markers today and the Honda guy said he doesn't think they blink (they only light up when turning on the lights). Am i going crazy, I could swear these things used to blink when I had my indicators on. Can another 5th gen owner verify that the side markers do indeed blink. Thanks
Jokes on me guys, i never noticed that they didn't blink. Really dumb of Honda to make them that way though. A car coming from the side will have a hard time seeing that you are making a turn. I swear i drove by a window once and was making a turn and it looked like the side marker was blinking.
