Ok here seems to be the probem.... my freind had installed the indaglow gauges for my 95 ls..... we took it out and then we installed it... but instead if just slapping it over the stock gauge... we had to rewire it to the back so it can fit.... anyways, so were done and finished.. as i drove home, i noticed that the "SRS (safety restraint system) had lit on.. now its supose to turn off after turning on your engine for 6 seconds.... but now it still sits there on.... bothering the **** out of me.... now i looked to see if it was the fuse that was blown, but i checked it and it was fine... im not really sure wtf is happining... but i would really love for someone to help me dearly.... now i heard many things to do besides paying "BANK" for acura dealerships to take a look at it... but i would like some help before that...

some things i heard:

1) Check the fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay.....
2) take out negative side of the battery for 15 mins and then reset it...
3) replace all the fuses in the fuse box.... (**** that lol)
4)check the wiring....

if theres any other way to fix this annoying light... please reply... thanks alot to all that helped....

obviously he mis-wired the guages.

OR

If the SRS wire was removed, then ignition turned on (without the SRS being plugged back in FIRST), then the SRS light will need to be reset.. and its a long and drawn out process. I dont know who here knows how to reset that light.

 

does anyone here know how to reset your srs light?
