Default LS MOTOR OR JDM D15B IN EG?

MY FRIEND IS DECIDING WHETHER TO GET A LS MOTOR FOR HIS CAR OR A JDM D15B... HE CAN GET A FULL LS SWAP W/ INSTALLATION FOR $1350 OR HE CAN GET A JDM D15B FOR $770 SHIPPED FULL SWAP W/O INSTALLATION AND ECU. BUT, HES ON A $1400 BUDGET AND HE WANTS HIS CAR TO BE QUICK AND LOOK NICE. RIGHT NOW ITS JUST SLAMMED ON HX RIMS AND VISIONS. BUT, I TOLD HIM IF HE GETS A LS MOTOR THATS ALL HES GONNA GET RIGHT NOW. BUT IF HE GETS A D15B HE CAN MAKE HIS CAR LOOK BETTER AND PLUS BE QUICK. THE QUESTION I HAVE IS "HOW MUCH BETTER DOES A LS MOTOR PERFORM IN A EG THAN A JDM D15B?" AND " WHAT WOULD U RATHER HAVE IF U WERE ON THIS BUDGET?"

d series boosted, just to **** with all you ls guys. but seriously, go LS, if he's got the money spend it and be quick now. he won't gain anything by getting the d15b, its pretty much the same as a Z6.

yeh,
i'm a sohc guy, and unless he wants to throw more money on that d15,
the LS is going to far outperform it

the LS does weigh quite a bit more however,
so there are handling issues it brings up.
but if he's slammed he probably doesnt care too much about that.
