I was just curious if any one has type r internals on their usdm type-s? post pics if any, any recomandations for my stock type-S, I'm looking into just doing internals in witch I already started. going all motor here!!

 

i am thinking about going the same route. if you decide to actually buy the type-r cams, it would be a good idea to get either ib spec valve springs (good for 9500 rpm, bought from http://www.importbuilders.com) or get oem 2002 s2000 valve springs. the s2000 springs are proven to work just fine with the type-r cams in the k20a2 head. of course, those are good for at least 9000 as well. after that get the hondata k20a program. it produces more hp than a stock type-r ecu (which cant be used on a usdm rsx anyways). then get the manifold, a good race header, exhaust, and u'll be into the mid 13's for sure.
