Off and on again I hear a clunk when I put the S into 1st. It doesn't happen all the time. But just thought I'd ask. As well as the RPM's go so low once in a while that I feel as though I am going to stall. Anything?

Are you driving when you put it in first?

 

I've heard that the driveline is readied so that power can be applied. There is actually a little play in our drivetrain that is removed so that when real power is applied, all slop is taken out of the driveline. About the stalling thing, I've spoken with MANY owners that have that. It seems that this car is a little tempermental when it comes to temperature or humidity changes.

I was told by the guy I bought my car from that it is the brakes resetting themselves...he said if you go for after market that it would get rid of it...
