Check the classifieds and the Sponsor Marketplace. There are always a few sets available at a good price.

To fit P73 (Integra Type R) pistons on LS rods, you need to shave each side of the rod by 1mm. However P30 (second gen B16A)pistons will fit the LS rods perfectly. And yes, they are the same bore.

yea the ls rods need to be milled 1mm on each side of the small end of the rod then shot peened for stress relieve and to replace the strength since you just scored off the rod to mate any "r" family of pistons to non r family rods u have to do that mod..althou JDM b16a SirII pistons mate directly on the ls rods with no modding..that is what i am doing here soon and i know of some people who have and they really like it.

Dont forget the shot peening.

PR3's are first generation B16A pistons. P30's will offer slightly higher compression so if you can find a set, they would be the way to go.

Yes, the PR3's will fit, as will the P30's. The P73's and the PCT's will require machine work. I'm not sure about the P72's, but I think they require machine work as well.

ok to just to be absolutely clear.... pr3's, the first gen b16 pistons, will fit with ease and give what compression??? p73 (itr's?) will require the shaving of the rod...?

Compression depends upon if you're using an LS head or one of the 2 different VTEC heads. Headgasket thickness will also have an effect, as will any milling of the head. From here, there's nothing I can tell you to do except search. I know this information has been covered in the past, all you have to do is find it.

and if your changing pistons i highly recoment u change the rod bolts to some arp rod bolts
