Default Tuning update.

Hey guys,

Wanted to show you guys the results of my two day dyno excursion....Here is the result of day one's tuning. We just messed with the VAFC....
Today, I decided to go back and try to get the power curve smothed out. The guys suggested changing out my cat for a highflow. We did that and as you see, the power jumped a bit, but smoothed out delivery from 5500 to 6000.

The final sheet shows the results of everyting done (AF/cams/Cat) it compares against my innitial run. I can't believe the improvement. Power is smother and increased across the entire powerband. the car feels great.

what do you guys think?

YV

just out of curiosity, is your ecu chipped or anything, or do you still have the stock redline? from what i saw you have a vafc, so im assuming that you used that to tune it with, and if you still have a stock redline than thats one of your problems. you need to rev higher to squeeze the most power you can out of you ITR cams. you should be making more power than that!!

I did have my obd I in for a few runs, but it was running so rich that I couldn't seem to get it to lean out at all. This gave me some pretty poor numbers. immediately after switching to my stock ecu, hp jumped up across the board.

any suggestions?
