pull plugs out, change your oil, flush coolant just b/c ya never know

turn it over and keep your fingers crossed.

spray air in the spark plug holes if you're in a hurry.

put plugs in it, change your oil again.

crank her up... hopefully....

let it run a minute. change the oil again.

repeat until oil doesn't look milky. might take 4 or 5 cycles.

hopefully you won't have any knocking.... and hopefully it will turn over...

i wouldn't think any water would make it into the valve cover that quick but i could be wrong.....

one thing i didn't mention that i figured you would assume would be to change the filter when you change the oil..... just incase you didn't think of that.

let us know what happens...

The best of luck to you. My wife did the same to my car. I had three nice little holes in my block! I ended up getting an engine from Dan Phan at rcrewracing.com.

i say, take your plugs out, and evaporate / suck out any water that might be in the upper cyls. , change your oil, change your plugs. try to start it up and hope for the best. it doesnt rain much here, but its a big reason why i went with a short ram, and left my lower resonator in.
