I have a 96 sol with the d16y7 and am going doing a mini-me with a d16z6 head, it will also be turning OBDI, is it possible to re-use the old parts from the d16y7 on my 90 civic HB, I also have two complete intake manifolds for the z6 (IM, throttle bodies, injectors, fuel rail etc...) and is it even worth it?

the motor in the hb has about 130k on it and is not runing at it's best lots of noise from the top of the motor, I had the valves adjusted last year, and have only put about 3-4000 miles on it sense, and it taps alot, and burns oil.....

does this thought even make sense, just want to use parts that I have, don't want to drop alot of money into this hatch..... it's mainly a winter car as of right now
