Rear hub bearing has some play...
Okay i'm getting ready to start stage 2 of my ES master kit bushings install (rear dissasembly) and when taking off my rear hub i noticed there is some slight play...
I can move the hub right to left and up and down while it's mounted on the rear trailing arm. It doesn't move an awful lot but is there any play allowed at all with the hub bearing? or should the hub be perfectly snug on the trailing arm axel...
I'm 99.9% sure there shouldn't be any play but it doesn't hurt to check!
If i do need to replace it where should i look to buy it from...Hparts.com? anything aftermarket that is cheaper? pepboys?
Just need some help please.
Thank you,
Vince

well the thing is the hub doesn't move at all when the hub nut is tightened all the way but i just noticed some play when it was just losely on the shaft. Maybe the hub/bearings is only meant to have no play when tightened to the car?
Anyone else?
