k guys, i just got in my new hawker battery today and wanted to keep you guys updated on the weight diff btw that and my old one. my new battery weights exactly 14 lbs and not 13.5 as it says on the website but its ok. lol j/k. and my old one was in at flat 38 lbs. so i saved about 24 lbs. i think its worth it tho. i just got really excited when i saw it and when to put it on but it started to rain like a mo fo so i just got to connect it half *** and see if it works and it just starts up great. no diff. btw that and my old one. i'll post up some pics once i get this thing installed right and make sure its secure because it is like 1/4 of the old battery. lol
That's awesome. I am going to get a lighter battery too. I am already planning the move to the trunk.
I am trying to make it as light as possible closer to 50/50 weight distribution...without messing up the interior/function of the car.
