Default Rear Rotors?

Ok, I've read a few threads on rotors, pads, etc etc. It seems that most like Brembo blanks for the fronts but my question is what are people running in the back? I'm not into OEM so that option is out, I'm looking at AEM for pads and Steel Braided Lines, but the missing element is what to use for the rear rotors. If I go with Brembo blanks don't those come Nickle coated or something to prevent rust? If so, what could I use that is similar so I dont have one set of nice looking rotors up front and a rusty looking set in back? Any input would be most appreciated, Thanks!

I would just go with the Blanks in the rear as well.
As for keeping them all clean looking... I am not sure. You could paint them(not braking surface)

I went with BRADI rotors for the rears.. That's what most guys do that get brembo blanks because brembo doesn't make rears for our cars. You can get them zinc or nickel plated too to prevent rust.

Other users, other forums, etc. I've looked at Brembo site as well and nothing. If you know of a place and a part number for 4th Gen Brembo Blank rears, please feel free to let me know, because thats what I would prefer to get if I'm getting Brembo fronts.

Rear brakes only do around 20% braking in a FWD car, so original rotors are fine.

the only place I can think of right now that sells the Brembo rears is Nopi. I have ordered rotors from them before and they seemed to have the best prices for them. I have heard good and bad things about them....

He's right, Brembo does not make a rear rotor for the 4th gen.

Braided lines or some sort of heavy duty performance brake line will make the pedal feel firmer under hard braking

Do they make them for the 5th generation?

Brembo does make rear rotors for 4th gen, jsut not for the VTEC model that I have seen. The rotors are different in the VTEC model. Somehting to do with the ABS I think. Im not sure.

The rear rotors I've seen that are "Brembo" aren't. They're imitation, so if you have then then most likely they are fake unless they started making them. Oh yah, and they also don't make drilled slotted I think.

Correct Brembo does not make Xdrilled/slotted. They make them separately but not together.

The link I gave above your post is for Rear Brembo rotors for the Si and VTEC. They use the same rotors.

wow thats the only link i've ever seen for brembo rears for a 4th gen. I've been told by many online stores that brembo does not make a rear disc for the 4th gen. I guess I have been mis-informed, or they just came out w/ this application.

Groupbuycenter now has prices for the rear brembos which they did not about a month ago...
