Taking off USDM Steering wheel
Does anyone know how to take off that silly dummy panel that covers up the hole where the steering cruise control goes. I'm about to lose my temper and break it off. I haven't received my Helm's and am losing patience. Another question is how do I unseize the damn Torx screw that is holding the airbag in place?
Please help

well, ive had to take off a few abs steering wheels...
1) disconnect battery
2) use jewlers (or just really small) screwdriver to pry off access panels.
3) you'll need a 6 prong star shaped (14 comes to mind, but im not sure) bit on the end of a ratchet to get the two bronze colored screws out of the bag
4) once those screws are out, the airbad will slide out, look for a red plug on the inside of the wheel to plug the connectors of the airbad up after disconnecting it from the harness in the steering column. (i know for sure the 99-00 Civic Si has a red plug, not sure about the ITR)
5) please make sure that the airbad is handled carefully, nothing quite like an airbag goig off
6) as for the big *** nut that holds the wheel on, just get the right size socket, extention and ratchet. have a friend hold the wheel and keep tugging, it'll give eventually.
if you take the headlight/wipercontrol assembly off, PLEASE make sure that the little yellow spin indicator is in the middle position before you put the wheel back on. (spin the connector which has a white sticker) its real easy to miss and when you put the wheel back on you cant see it - if you need a picture, EMAIL ME

I'm having no other problems except for getting that plastic panel on the right side of the steering wheel where the steering controls for the cruise control goes. I have the left side torx screw loose already. And I know that I have to remove that other plastic panel to get to the other one.
Thanks
