EG Civics - how far does your sunroof open?
Hey guys,
My gf has had her EG civic for a couple of years now. The other day she told me her sunroof is not going back all the way - having a look at it I don't think it ever went back any further than it is. Looking even closer I cant see how it could possibly go back any further. Still she swares black and blue that it used to go back further. Whilst the car is an Australian model I dont think it would be any different to the USDM models (other than RHD of course!) so if someone could let me know if theirs is the same then it would greatly appreciated ... and I'd have some evidence to back me up too!!
Mike
ps. I hope the pics come out OK ... its my first attempt at posting pics.
Closed obviously!

Open as far as it will go ...

From the inside ...

With the cover pulled back as far as it will go.

does anyone have a problem opening theirs? mine is kinda weird, if i push the switch to open it doesnt really do anything but make the noise (the motor) , i have to use my hand and push it up gently while pushing the button to open it before it actually opens, and same thing with close, i have to push it up and push close

I believe the difference is this:
A sunroof retracts into the roof(accords, 99-00 Si, etc). A moonroof retracts above the roof(92-95 civic Si).

lol..who cares how far the sunroof/moonroof rolls back. YOu should be more worried about how far her seats can roll back.
