Default turboed my civic and wrecked on my b-day

So for my B-day I decided to through my turbo kit onto my b16 hatch. After a weekend of fabracating and making sure that everything was perfect I was finally able to drive it. However, while I was in the garage it started to rain. I first took it out and didn't hit boost for about 10miles I would stop periodically and make sure that everything is perfect. Long story short the fist time I hit boost I end up hitting a fire hiedrant. I was not speeding or doing anything stupid. It was just that I didn't really know what to expect and because of the rain I had no traction. I know that it was my fault. I am just glad that no one is hurt. Another car down now I will try again.

Sorry, but I don't think a 17 year old needs to be driving a boosted tricycle even.

Damn dude.. I really do not know how you guys do that ****...

I mean, I was young too back in the day.... But come on...

Do yourself a favor and re-evaluate yourself... If you cannot control your car on the first test drive, I really would hate to run into you during normal traffic....

Please, be more careful from now on... try to learn your limits...

The purpose of this post is not to make you feel worse than you already feel, but to make you realize that you still do not know how to drive.

That's the gayest thing I ever heard. I don't know what's gayer though: a kid wrecking his newly modded car because he can't drive or a kid being able to have a B16 turbo Honda when he's 17 .

Did this happen on a straight road? I'm assuming it was on a turn. I don't understand how that could have happened. If you felt loss of traction why not let up right away?

hmmm...glad your allright. Dont take this wrong, we were all young and dumb at one point (well I can say Im not young anymore )but consider what happened as a sign of what could happen.

People are always building cars and riding critch rockets way beyond there driving skills. Its up to you to learn your car and become that better driver.

Hey, got any pics of the hydrant?
