The seller that I bought it from told me that since it was a helical type LSD, that it will never wear out, meaning that mileage doesnt matter. I kind of understand it, since all i see on the LSD are gears, and gears dont really wear out. But.. to what extent??
Is there any way to check for sure if my ITR LSD is still good? If what the seller is saying is true, then why on the ITR manual is there a check for LSD to see if it is still good or not? something about checking the rotating torque in neutral and 1st gear.

Is it currently in the car?
Lots of limited slip differential manufacturers have procedures where you can take a torque wrench, ( beam type ) and check to see what the breakaway is of it.
Usually one end is placed on the splines of the axle and the other end is connected to the opposing side of the diff. I am not sure about ITR diffs. but there might be a test.
