That's why when I buy my R, I make sure I will not have kids within 5 years.
and by the time I have kids, I will have enough money to buy another 4 doors like a WRX STI if it's here.
But family comes first in any case!!! If I have to sell my R for my family, I will sell it for my family.

Yeah, buying a house is one major pain. Here in the SF bay area, houses are priced so crazy. I bought one last year (350k) and I have to start watching my expenses. Good luck.

well I bought my R from my friend who got a baby...
His quote: "I love the R, but my Daughter won't sleep in this car... too bumpy and too noisy"...
so His wife declared... choose Family or Car? of course he choose the family...
as for me? hm.... I don't think I'll have a kid in the next 5 years..
can't you get a second car?
but yeah.. if you think you're kinda tight on $, better put Family 1st...
ITR is only a dead item.. (good one that is! hehe)..
Family and Friends comes 1st......

There are more important things than owning an ITR. And family is one of them..sell the car if it comes to that
Sorry man but you gotta sell the car. Your kid comes first.
All you guys who would rather go shine your car than play with your kids, shame on you.

keep it... you're gone sell the car and drive what?
Is the ITR paid for?
Do you have money for a new car?
The Integras are pretty functional, I would keep it.
Decent trunk, safe, enough room for the little one.
If you sell it:
a) you'll be out of a car, u'll need something else
b) you'll be out of a "stress reliver".... picture this... this, after a while the kid and the wife will get to be a serious burden, wheather you like it or now... what better way to relieve some stress then to slam so gears at 8400 rpm?

I think you already know the answer, but you just dont want to admit it. Sell the car, buy yourself a suv, and enjoy life with your son/daughter.
You sell the R, and take care of your family. In the meantime, you buy baby soft diapers, future car detailing rags for whatever car you decide to get! Remember, no matter how hard you may hug your car, it will never hug you back. Little timmy on the other hand...

Sell the car! Getting the baby in and out of the back seat is a bitch on the back! If i didn;t have a second car that's a 4 door, my 'teg would be gone. Next car: Not a car, an SUV! Practicality wins out over speed. and gas in Texas is waaaayyy cheaper than NorCali so I'm not too worried about gas.
I want to say keep the car but unless you have a sedan also, it's gonna kill your back as the kid gets older. My kid is going on 4 months old and my back is going on 84 years old. The passenger side seat doesn't move up far enough to get the baby seat in easily and the passenger can't move the seat back at all. Do the right thing.

i to am a father of an 8 month old baby girl and own a 2 door teg GS and i cant wait to get a 4 door gsr, beleive me i can understand what you mean by an 84 year old back its tough and im only 20 years old man! i would sell the R and in a couple years and things have settled, you can always go back to one again. good luck with the kid your gonna need it, but try to enjoy every second you have with yer kid!! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
Fortunately we have three cars. One of the things we agreed on before having kids was that neither of us would have to give up what love to do. I keep my car, she keeps doing dog shows.
Right now we're trying.
