Possible 2nd gen integra owner / have some questions

I have wanted to get a Honda for awhile now but I could never decide on the model I like the best. After thinking it over I have decided that a 2nd gen integra will be my best bet. I have a few questions though.
What is the difference between the 2nd and 3rd – breaks and suspension?
Roughly what kind of gas mileage will I get with a lightly modified b18?
Do you think this would be a good daily driver?

1. everything is different. G3's are the next generation of integra. G3's actually look better too.
2. depends on how you drive. if its lightly moded and you drive normally, probably a little less than stock. again, it depends. if you get above 24mpg, youre doing good.
3. Any well maintained and reliable car offering good fuel mileage would make a good daily driver. if the car was beaten, is burning oil, or cant start properly, then no...
Your questions are rather subjective. Help yourself out by asking more specific questions.

What a great answer.
How do you explain how the brakes are entirely different, and how the suspension is entirely different? The chassis or frame of the car are different (especially in the front end), but the suspension is very similar. In fact the rear is nearly identical, and the front differs in lower control arms, but the knuckle/upper table / etc. are still extremely similar.

Yes it's a good daily driver. I have a lightly modified 91 and I can still get around 280-300 miles per full tank. But that's when I drive proper. No reving past 3500 RPM =\

looks are always a matter of opinion.
the suspension layout and 4-disc brakes are similiar in design. there are minor changes. but, gen3 suspension components can be used on a gen2. there are a few gen2's with ITR suspension and braking systems.
the b18a/b are similiar, but with the obd changes and a few power increases. its a great motor, very strong and has good mid-range power but pulls smoothly up to redline.
i prefer the driving position in the g2. you see over the hood better and seem to have better visibility. i think alot of this has to do with a low dash and more upright windshield.
i think they are great daily drivers, no matter what the road conditions. i've enjoyed mine alot and will continue to do so.
there are some problems to look out for...but a search will yield you all those answers.
make sure to have a car you want to buy thoroughly inspected by a reputable honda mechanic.
