Default Ls/Vtec vs B16 swap

OK so im wondering what would b better buildin up an lsvtec or swaping a b16 i need it to b reliable. If i go with the b16 i would stay all motor, go with new cams maybe a small shot of nitrous. Lsvtec would b the same but i wold wana go 11.5 CR pistons and bore out to 2.0L. MY goal is a high 13 second car which is cheaper to get there with and what is more reliable...its all goin in a 93 gs.

O ya and to swap in the b16 its all bolt in right i dont need to buy any mounts?

b16 and a reliable ls/vtec do not compare in price. Swap in a GSR and get bolt ons, or go LS/Vtec. They should make baout the same power. To do LS/Vtec right, you need a lot of $$$

it would be easier to hit a 13 in an ls/vtec. the only thing that would make it reliable or not is if there is enough oil getting through the motor and the block would need to be reinforced with either a block guard or sleeves. if you do the ls/vtec you should get the rods shot peened too and get some high compression pistons like 11.5 like you want. I think with that, the bolt ons, fuel, a clutch, and tires you should be in the 13's for sure. if you wanna go faster do head work because thats where all the power is.
