Default Shock application question

Hey guys, trying to help a fellow member find out a decent shock for his application. He does not track the car, and he is working with about a 400 dollar price limit. I of course suggested the GC/Yellow combination, but he DOES NOT track the car, and just wants a comfortable, low ride. Anybody have an opinion on some softer shocks (such as Blues, etc) that won't blow if he dumps it. Is there even a shock such as that?

<--- in need of inexpensive shocks also....

a guy in ATL can get KYB AGX's for $75 each... that's about what I'm down to...

$75 x 4 = $300

Bilstein Hd's.

They're $450 for a set shipped. Their non-adjustable and they make a great daily driver strut. It's what i'm riding on and their decent. Everyone says after 10 years they're still as good as the day you got them. Bilstein makes alot of stuff for trucks so their gonna be pretty damn durable.

Koni Reds should do the trick. The best replacement shock.

I've not heard good stuff about the blues before but this kind of brings their level up a lil.

But dude eibach springs are pretty bad. Their set spring-kits i've heard from alot of people sag. If your going to get a set spring kit just get H&R's, their alot cheaper than the eibachs. neuspeeds are nice as well.

What YOU should do is keep what you've got and just replace the struts w/tokico whites or Koni Yellows. You allready have some decent coilovers, so just get some nice struts on there.

Might want to look into the G2s. Not adjustable, but only like 200 bucks for both the front and rear.

I duno that one guy said he had goodluck w/the blues but i havent heard good stuff about them. Their basically a oem replacement shock, i'd rather have oem though personally, i've seen them last for 200,000miles+

Like i stated above.
