If you have the ***** you basically have to tear down the whole bottomof your stock civic seat and replace the si one with it. Seat pan, foam , rails and all.

id like to see a pic of you sitting in the car with the door closed to see how high you sit, id like to do this swap too.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by EeeJaySixxx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">cutt off the feet on the si rails except for the flat one. then make your own out of thick L brackets used for fencing (from home depot). once you grind off the tack welts and pop the rivots out of the old feet you'll have a nice hole that you can put a small 10mm bolt through and bolt up your new feet. the outside rear foot on each seat is a bitch to do because the seats wont sit level so you have to make a braket that will level it out. maybe i'll take pics sometime.

but here is the finished product.

yeah, someone needs to develop a kit (w/ rails or whatever) so these would bolt in easy, they'd probably make some really good money.

You could try this, i dont know if it will work for the 03 seats, but it worked for the 2000 seats for me.

Anyway give it a try

i used that thread for my s2000 seat swap in my 98 coupe. basically you just undo all the hogrings holding the cover to the pan/rail and unbolt the back support, then swap the pan/rails between the seats and re-do the hogrings and you're done.

i assume the same is true for these new seats if they have the same pan design.

though you dont swap the cushion part...

Hey, anyone wanting to get rid of the si 2002ish back seat ... wanted badly with headrest. willing to trade EDM ctr backrest w/o headrest.

kristin

That is the stock EDM backseat... looking for the US version.

I heard its a bitchload of welding and fabbing, and definitely not worth it. Besides, I've sat in EP3 seats, they arent even that supportive, partly because they are so wide.
