96 R motor is in your price range.(used)
98 R is a little more than you want to spend.

call importautosalvage.com , ask to talk to randy, they're awesome on swaps, there's a post about where people get the swaps on here somewhere, it was a a poll, import auto salvage is in NC, and honda tuning seems to get a lot of there parts there. i've been there, every swap comes out with NOTHING CUT, all lines plugged, and everyone says they really take care of the customer, i've bought $500 or so in parts, but not a swap, they got in a container of ITR clips, a while back, there other webiste is bfastproducts.com, or maybe b-fastproducts.com, but thats there performance side of the business(has pics of the swaps)

check them out

I'd talk to Larry Jr, Randy can be a little "out there" sometimes when it comes to prices.
