Default zc tranny?

hey guys. i got a dohc zc engine with a si tranny right now in my crx. i just bought a zc tranny, an extention shaft and an act stage two clutch for it. when i went to make sure it would all fit together the shaft wouldn't go into the tranny and the disc for the clutch wouldn't fit the tranny either. now im not sure if the problem is the tranny or the extention shaft and the clutch. what can i do to find out which parts need to be replaced? i know the tranny has 25 splines where the shaft should go in and the shaft has 27 splines where it should fit the tranny, and the disc is too small for the tranny. can any one tell me how to figure out what parts need to be replaced and which parts are correct (if any)? any advice would be great. thanks guys

The imput shafts on 88 transmissions had 21 splines, 89-91 had 20 splines. I'm sure you are having a clutch to input shaft problem. You simply need to get the right clutch.
