Default Need new clutch, suggestions, recommendations?

Whats up HT,
the time has finally arrived to change my clutch. My clutch has died and i need a new one asap. i want to upgrade my clutch, but i dont even know where to begin. Im boosting my car soon and i want a clutch that will put the power to the ground but still be a daily driver. im going for around 300 whp avg. my car is not drivable at this time and i need it back up asap because i need it for work. i have never really driven a car with an upgraded clutch so all i can go with is the experience from you guys. Any opinions, suggestions or recommendations will be great. i have searched, but not enough to help me decide. Please help.

If you're poor: ACT
If you're rich: ATS

ACT heavy duty pressure plate with the street/strip disc is heavily recommended by alot of people and i am replacing my stock clutch with a set i already purchased..if you want something that can withstand more torque, then the XTSS is a good choice as well...also, think about the flywheel at the same time since its right next to the clutch..you will need to resurface the OEM flywheel or get a new flywheel...a lighter flywheel will allow the engine to rev quicker..labor to install a clutch would be around 200 already and you probably wont be taking your transmission out of your car that often..so i would definitely think of the flywheel too.

i was thinking of getting the six puck with the heavy duty pressure plate, but im afraid that it would be tooooo harsh for the street. if thats too harsh then i would want to go with the street/strip disc. Also how extreme is the xtreme pressure plate when paired up with the street/strip disc?

All i really need is a breakdown of how different clutch designs, affect drivability, improvement over stock, reliability.
i understand that i need to search this one out, and im trying my best as we speak. But my clutch gave away at last minute and needs to be fixed asap. i dont have time to search for 2 weeks. i wish i had done all the research, but then again how was i supposed to know that this would have happened all of a sudden? im caught between a rock and a hard place. Now i could go with oem parts but since im paying someone to install the clutch i figured i might as well upgrade, which will help with my near future plans.

300 whp? my vote goes for the Xtreme pressure plate for the higher torque capabilities and the Street/Strip disc for daily driving..comments from people that have used the 6 puck disc is that its overkill for a daily driven car.

If anyone has had any experience with these setups please share, the only way that i can find out is from others experience. I have never driven a car with any type of upgraded clutch. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

my old crx had an act street setup, but i was only running a dual cam zc........ clutch feel wasnt too stiff but it was fine for daily driving...... grabbed excellent without any slippage.

now im driving a gsr with a clutchmasters stage3 setup (old, i know they dont have stages anymore but its been in the car since the original owner) pedal feel is STOCK! nothing like the act. Seems to grab just as well as the ACT setup but we are talkin two VERY different motors.........

Had excellent luck with ACT and so far great luck with the clutchmasters so both get a good review from me......... but daily driving and great power delivery for the clutchmasters makes me like it more.......... if i was to buy a new clutch again on a smaller budget i would go with clutchmasters........

if a large budget then go with tilton, never felt one and prolly never will but its gotta be damn good for the price...... hehe
