How can i make my crx exhaust sound better?

I have a full exhaust system, but it is high pithced and sounds ugly. I want a deeper sound so what options can i do. Will a universal muffler fit on the stock configuration for a crx exhaust. Thanks

it is custom. I bouth the car with it on there so i dont know too much about it

Do you have a resonator? Are you running a test pipe?

do what i did... go to ur local muffler shop and get custom piping 2.5 inches and get a mice unversal muffler and have tha put on.. i love the sound of mine

Run a cut out, sounds better then any full exh sysyem IMHO.... Cheap too. Costed me 100 bucks to have a cut out welded in, in the morn when all the old neighbors are asleep I keep it capped and quiet, unscrew the butterflys and pull off the flange when I come home some afternoons... I love it. Dont get caught.
