putting a b18c5 into 96 hatch, need help

Default putting a b18c5 into 96 hatch, need help

i have everything to do the swap , plus i ordered the place racing vtec adapter harness, my concern is will the 00 itr ecu work? if not what obd1 ecu will work? or is the stock 96 civic harness obd2 already?? im not sure i need ur help!! o yea where can u order a helms manual from?? i dont know the pin locations on the ecu to activate the vtec

Okay, here's what you're going to do. If you plan on using the 00 ITR ecu, make sure that the immobilizer (sp?) has been taken off. If not, the ecu will not work in your car...simple as that. If I were you, I'd get an OBD 2 (version 1) - OBD 1 harness (Skunk2, JDMhondaparts...they all make them..around $250). Get a P28 ecu (92-95, Si, EX)..then have it chipped to whatever your heard desires. I think that would be the best idea. Any more questions...let me know.
