Default Need Help on Brake system...

Well my Rear Brake pads are making that gay scratching noise.

So Far this is what i have that are ready to go in my Type R... Brembo Front and Rear Rotors, Front Hawk HP + front pads, AEM *Nisin* Rear Pads, and also my Goodridge Brake lines.

Is there any information or you guys can help me where i cna start off and how I can do this installation correctly?

Also is the Motul DOT 5.1 the right brake flouid

If you guys could help me this would be great.

Stay away from AEM pads! There crap. I dont care what anyone says. My old setup was AEM pads, Spoon Rotors for the front. The rear AEM pads, brembo rear rotors. I switched to brembo front cross-drilled, and Cobalt GT-Sport pads. The rear, I switched the AEM's for some Axxis Ultimates. Steel braided lines, Goodridge, and Motul 5.1. The setup now is amazing, I love it. The AEM pads just costed me a hole bunch of money replacing it with good stuff. The pad is just way to soft when it gets hot. For the street the pads are alright, but for the most part, if your hard on your brakes like I am, those pads are going to glaze the crap out of your rotors

do a search, brakes have been covered in detail on this board. Take your time, get a Helms manual (if you don't already have one) and if you've never done brakes before, find someone to help you through it...

One thing that was a pain on my car was the bleeding - we had to bleed my brakes like 8 times to get a stiff pedal (this was after changing pads, rotors, fluid, and lines)...

well, especially when racing doesn't DOT 5.1 have a much higher boiling point than the regular DOT 3? i don't know what JDM TypeR 508 has in mind, but maybe that's why. BTW, i'm using Motul 5.1 as well.
