Its about that time..
I have about $2500 and dont know which engine to get still. I have been bouncing between the B16A and the B18C1. I have no clue which one I want yet. The B16A as I have been told was designed very well. The B18C1 on the other hand doesnt seem to get to much praise. I thought about getting the B18 because not as many people have done the swap. But sacrificing the potential of my CRXs hp and torque out put doesnt sound to go to me. Please let me know what you guys think. PS I am glad to be apart of this forum.
I had the same questions, and i ended up going with an ls motor that im gonna turbo, just happend to end up that way. alot of people go with the b16a, and u might wanna be different (i said the same thing), but the b16 is gonna be cheaper, and with the money save from the b18, u can do some work, or get started to turbo it. Its really up to u tho, no i can tell u what to do or not do, its your car.
Yeah I keep leaning farther and farther towards the B16A. I definately want to turbo because in about a year my CRX is going to be a trailor queen. (not show just not street legal)
