'94 Accord EX Question
Ok im not totally sure how to explain this but Ill do my best. This is a '94 Accord with a F22B1 VTEC w/ 96,000 miles. You know how when its cold outside and you first start your car you can see your exhaust vapor? Ive noticed that on ever other car usually it does that when you first start it for a little bit and as you drive it and it warms up you usually cant see the exhaust vapor anymore. Im not really sure what that process is called, but my question here is on the accord it never goes away, theres always a lot of exhaust vapor showing even after warm up and even in slightly cold temps where all other cars usually dont show that, is this indicitive of a problem? Thanks
nah its definately exhaust vapor, no oil loss and it just passed emissions with flying colors so I dont suspect any oil or seal problems, Im positive its just exhaust vapor, its also ONLY visible when its like below 35 degrees, it usually goes away on most other cars after they drive for a little bit but on the accord its there all the time even after warm up
what mods do you have? It could be because your engine is much more hot than oem.
Removal of the Cat or aftermarket headers allow for less absorbption of heat which make the exhaust significantly warmer.

Positive its not anything other than exhaust, I guess the newest clue I could add is the exhaust smells rich in fuel, more-so than normal. Im positive however its not burning any oil or coolant. Could it be an Air/Fuel mix problem, or a problem with the cat? I would have thought it would have failed emissions tho with something like that, remember it passed with extremely low levels of everything which was a really good sign

Yeah normally Id agree it just bothers me that its not like every other car so obviously something somewhere isnt right and not knowing what it is kills me, Im also probably not getting the best gas mileage because of whatever this issue is, anyone else have any idea whats going on???
just a thought I know what you are talking about all of my accords have done this too but I was thinking maybe honda runs the cars rich unless you mash on the gas a bit to make the engine last longer? not sure thought anyone correct me on this?
