Default f22b1 swap into 94 accord dx problem

We finished it yesterday. We wired up vtec and it still doesnt run right. We used the accord dx wiring harness. We just added the 3 wires needed for vtec. We also used the dx distributuor and throttle body if that matters. We can not figure out why its idling crappy. Then we go drive it its fine it just takes longer to rev through the gears, then it did when we had this motor in my car. We are wondering if anyone has done this swap before and had this problem with this lag.
