A local car dealer hasa 98 Type R with 24k on it for $11k. It does have a salvaged title though, front end damage according to him.

Does the salvaged title void the warranty?

What do you guys think I should do? Usually I would never even consider a salvaged title car.

 

I am pretty sure the warranty is voided, but I would ask them if you can take the car to one of your personal mechanics. Have the mechanic check the car out thouroughly. Depending on the condition of the body lines I may offer them like $9500 cash.

Radley Acura in northern VA has a few black R's brand new on their lot - at least a few weeks ago they did.

 

yes salvage title voids warranty... it's somewhere in the owner/warranty manual.

 

ah, just buy it and gut it for a track only car...but I do agree to have a mechanic check it out...

 

Carfax shows its messed up. It hit a utilty pole, air bag deployed. And it got a junk title with 7k on it from some other means. Stolen prolly.
