Just realized this forum existed + CRV
I was thinking damn we need another forum on HT for crv's etc, then I just opened my eye and bam! one already exists.
Anyway continuing my honda loyalism me and the missus purchased a 2003 CRV EX-L.
I haven't seen much aftermarket gears towards it though, i.e. suspension, wheels, super chargers?
I can't see no reason why honda can't form a partnership with say Comptech for a factory support super charger upgrade. While found the crv had a nicer power band than the other compact suv's we tested, it could still use a little bump. And where the intake now faces the front I think it would be a very nice upgrade!
With that thought whats the scoop on the new i-vtec motors? Are they strong? i.e. cylinder sleves, rods, pistons etc.
Anyway I'm probably going to buy a set of wheels the summer, any one have any recommendations for some thing that would look cool?

i'm not too sure of the strength of the k motors.. but i do know they are freaking crazy if you go n/a route. look at the k20's. they can put down 200whp with a few bolt ons. i'm sure the k24 will producce a lot mor epower due to displacement... also, if you stick with n.a get a type s head.

k-series is a great motor. you could do a head swap from an rsx-s or tsx...that would yield some great power. they also react well to turbocharging. your k24 is a larger displacement of the k20 found in the civic si and rsx base, same motor as in the accord too. might check those forums for more info on upgrades.
