question on tranny\clutch\flywheel combo...
hi i'm taking out my 89 crx HF motor and replacing it with a crx si motor and it happens to be from a 88 so i'm assuming its using a 88 crx si flywheel? well yeah, i'm going to be using my clutch from my 89 hf so my question is can i use the clutch from my 89 hf to bolt up to the 88 crx hf flywheel? also, i have a 90-91 crx si tranny, can i bolt up my 89 clutch to this tranny? ok well thanks for the help.

89-91 trannies are all the same. U can use a 89 tranny with 90-91 stuff.
But you can use 89 stuff with the 90-91 tranny.
My question i want to know is...(sorry for jackin the thread)
Can you use 88 tranny, 88 clutch disk and pressure plate...and 90-91 flywheel?
The surface area is larger on the 90-91. but i wonder if its gonna be too big...anyone have any ideas?

You can use it but its not ideal, And i dont recommend you going that route unless you have to... Its not to big as the clutch just needs to have its full surface area to grab on, mores not going to hurt, just weigh more
