does anyone know if the '04 parts will fit on an '00 s2000? because my car got reared and i wanted to get the 04 taillights and back bumper...

the head designer for the S2000 says that the MY04 taillights will fit with minimal modification, but he said that the bumper is more "labor intensive" (found on a post from s2ki). I have heard of some folks trying it out and just completely giving up...

 

Dong is correct. It *can* be done and has been done on a few cars already, but there is sheetmetal work needed to ge tthe tail lights in. I did the front swap complete with the spash shields on my '02 and the bumper beam needed to be "modified", but it fits well.
The rear swap is a little more tricky.
