Default ingalls camber kit prob with upper control arm

Well I installed my ingalls camber kit on my 91 crx today and after it was all installed together and perfect I lowered the car down to find that the upper control arms were now hitting the inside of the fender wall. It says that it could happen to on the instruction sheet so I was wondering If I could cut a hole inside the fender wall into the engine compartment so that the control arms can have more room to travel.

There is a seam that you need to cut and fold over where the liner touches the inner metal parts. Watch the control arm go up and where it hits is the part you need to cut and bend out of the way. NO holes are cut doing this. Be usre to use some Rustoleum paint too. Another thing-in doing this you need to make several cuts in the metal in order to fold it smoothly. THis assumes you installed the adjustable anchor bolts and not the balljoint type kit.
